Many reviews say it is busy even on weekdays (a few say weekdays are better), and there is no lift, so every floor above the ground floor means stairs. It is about five minutes on foot from Dongguk Univ. Station Exit 3 or six from Exit 4. The basement and three floors are divided into rooms, and one blog thought its large sofa areas looked good for groups of six or more. Prices are at Reserve level.
Stripe Coffee, Yaksu
스트라이프커피 약수점A large brunch cafe about three minutes on foot from Yaksu Station Exit 5, with a toast-and-coffee morning set from 08:00 to 11:00. Blog posts call it roomy enough for groups of four or more, and there is a separate room. The front entrance has steps, but one post says there is a lift to the left of them for strollers. Reviews also mention the high ceiling makes it loud when it fills up.
A Twosome Place, Hwanghak Sindang Station
투썸플레이스 황학신당역점A Twosome Place on the ground floor of Hwanghak Acro Tower, about four minutes on foot from Sindang Station Exit 2, opening at 08:00 every day. A review says it is big enough that people chatting and people studying end up in separate areas. Ordering a drink gets you free parking in the building's car park. The toilets are outside the cafe, inside the building.
