Tips

  • Naver's place listing and a September 2026 blog say it closes every Monday from 09:00 until 04:00 on Tuesday, while Kakao Map lists it as open 24 hours every day. Breakfast before 09:00 is fine on any day. If you plan to go on Monday after 09:00 or on Tuesday before 04:00, check a map app before you go.
  • Two Kakao Map reviews, from January and February 2026, complain about the taste and hygiene. Naver visitor reviews continue up to June 2026.

Yukjeon Gukbap, Yaksu Station

육전국밥 약수역점

A 24-hour branch of a gukbap (soup with rice) chain right at Yaksu Station Exit 6. The signature is beef gukbap topped with yukjeon, thin slices of pan-fried beef, at ₩11,000. Spicy buckwheat noodles with yukjeon (₩11,000) and beef bulgogi in an earthenware pot (₩12,000) are also on the menu. You order on a tablet at the table, and it works well for eating alone.

Bisabeol Jeonju Kongnamul Gukbap

비사벌전주콩나물국밥

A Jeonju-style kongnamul gukbap shop (bean-sprout soup with rice) at 146 Dasan-ro. The menu has just one dish (₩10,000), so ordering is easy: say how many people and sit down. Moju, a makgeolli simmered with herbs (it contains alcohol), is ₩1,000 on the side. It opens at 09:00 every day, so it suits a late breakfast rather than an early one. It is not the same shop as the branch of the same name in Seongsu/Ttukseom.

The Kakao Map menu (updated December 2025) also lists ox-bone soup with offal at ₩16,000 and oxtail soup at ₩28,000.
