Starbucks Jangchung Lounge R
스타벅스 장충라운지R점
Nearest station: Dongguk Univ. Station (동대입구역) Exit 3 / Exit 4
A Starbucks Reserve in a converted 1960s mansion (one review dates it to 1966). Many reviews say it is busy even on weekdays (a few say weekdays are better), and there is no lift, so every floor above the ground floor means stairs. It is about five minutes on foot from Dongguk Univ. Station Exit 3 or six from Exit 4. The basement and three floors are divided into rooms, and one blog thought its large sofa areas looked good for groups of six or more. Prices are at Reserve level.

Tips
- Every source agrees on a 09:00 opening, but closing times differ. One review says the outdoor terrace closes at 19:00 and a blog says 20:00. Check a map app for the day before you go.
- Reviews from 2024–2025 say strollers and wheelchairs use the entrance at the back, where you ring the bell for staff to open the door, that the ground floor is usable and that it has an accessible toilet. An August 2026 blog, however, says you effectively have to lift the stroller, and another says the order counter is up a flight of stairs. There is no lift. There is no parking of its own; a blog says spending ₩20,000 or more gets one hour free at the nearby Jangchung private car park.
Yaksu · Places
Stripe Coffee, Yaksu
스트라이프커피 약수점A large brunch cafe about three minutes on foot from Yaksu Station Exit 5, with a toast-and-coffee morning set from 08:00 to 11:00. Blog posts call it roomy enough for groups of four or more, and there is a separate room. The front entrance has steps, but one post says there is a lift to the left of them for strollers. Reviews also mention the high ceiling makes it loud when it fills up.
A Twosome Place, Hwanghak Sindang Station
투썸플레이스 황학신당역점A Twosome Place on the ground floor of Hwanghak Acro Tower, about four minutes on foot from Sindang Station Exit 2, opening at 08:00 every day. A review says it is big enough that people chatting and people studying end up in separate areas. Ordering a drink gets you free parking in the building's car park. The toilets are outside the cafe, inside the building.
Wonjo Honam Sundaeguk
원조호남순대국A sundaeguk shop (pork and blood-sausage soup with rice) at 163 Dongho-ro, listed as open 24 hours. Before 09:00 you can get a hot soup breakfast here on any day of the week. It is a walk-in shop. Sundaeguk is ₩11,000; the offal version and pork-bone hangover soup are ₩12,000. A September 2026 blog visit found it full from 07:00.
Yukjeon Gukbap, Yaksu Station
육전국밥 약수역점A 24-hour branch of a gukbap (soup with rice) chain right at Yaksu Station Exit 6. The signature is beef gukbap topped with yukjeon, thin slices of pan-fried beef, at ₩11,000. Spicy buckwheat noodles with yukjeon (₩11,000) and beef bulgogi in an earthenware pot (₩12,000) are also on the menu. You order on a tablet at the table, and it works well for eating alone.
