Tips
- The first-and-third-Tuesday closure appears in three 2026 posts. Closing times differ by source, so check a map app for the day before you go. A 2025 review says laptop users were asked to leave within an hour.
- A 2022 post describes staff lifting a stroller in, which suggests a step at the entrance (an old source). Posts say there are three free parking spaces and to use a public car park when they are full.

Starbucks, Dongguk Univ. Station
스타벅스 동대입구역점A Starbucks right outside Dongguk Univ. Station Exit 3. It opens at 06:30 on weekdays, which is early for a cafe. A post describes a large shop split between a ground floor and a half-level up, used for adults' get-togethers, and an October 2026 post mentions finding a table for five in the evening. There is no parking.
Starbucks Jangchung Lounge R
스타벅스 장충라운지R점A Starbucks Reserve in a converted 1960s mansion (one review dates it to 1966). Many reviews say it is busy even on weekdays (a few say weekdays are better), and there is no lift, so every floor above the ground floor means stairs. It is about five minutes on foot from Dongguk Univ. Station Exit 3 or six from Exit 4. The basement and three floors are divided into rooms, and one blog thought its large sofa areas looked good for groups of six or more. Prices are at Reserve level.
Stripe Coffee, Yaksu
스트라이프커피 약수점A large brunch cafe about three minutes on foot from Yaksu Station Exit 5, with a toast-and-coffee morning set from 08:00 to 11:00. Blog posts call it roomy enough for groups of four or more, and there is a separate room. The front entrance has steps, but one post says there is a lift to the left of them for strollers. Reviews also mention the high ceiling makes it loud when it fills up.
