Yongsan Cafes for a Morning Meetup: 8 Open by 10:00

Yongsan cafes that open by 10:00 on weekdays, picked for a group of four to six and with two kinds of reader in mind: families with small children who start the day early, and parents meeting up after daycare or kindergarten drop-off. Near Yongsan Station there is a Starbucks in I'Park Mall that opens at 06:30 and Dohwa Apartment with plenty of group tables; near Ichon Station there is the spacious Coffee@Works and Cafe Mellang, which has many posts from parents with strollers. Each entry notes stroller access, where the restroom is and what the sources say about children, and says so when a source didn't confirm something, such as a table for four to six. None of the sources checked describe any of the eight as a no-kids zone.

Starbucks, Yongsan I'Park Mall 1F

스타벅스 용산아이파크몰1F점

50 m from Yongsan Station Exit 1, open daily from 06:30. A large shop split across both sides of the mall entrance; glass doors with no step let strollers and wagons in, and there are high chairs and room to park a stroller. The restrooms are the mall's, outside the shop, and a blog suggests the 4th floor because the ground-floor one has a single stall. It is often full during the day and a table for four to six is not confirmed, so come early. A drink gets 60 minutes' free parking at I'Park Mall (Starbucks official).

Dohwa Apartment Hangang-ro

도화아파트먼트 한강로

Six to seven minutes on foot from Yongsan Station Exit 1, open daily from 09:00. Large tables throughout, a separate space on the ground floor and a 3rd-floor meeting room that can be rented on weekdays make it the safest bet for four to six adults. The 2nd and 3rd floors are stairs only, so a stroller stays on the ground floor, and the restrooms (separate for men and women) are on the 2nd floor. A blog mentions a group with children seated in the 3rd-floor meeting room at a weekend. No parking; stays are limited to two hours on weekends and public holidays.

Coffee@Works, Dongbu Ichon-dong

커피앳웍스 동부이촌동점

About six minutes on foot from Ichon Station Exit 4, on the ground floor of Hangang Shopping Center, open daily from 08:00. A 2025 blog describes it as spacious with plenty of sofa seating and good with a baby. Whether the entrance is step-free for a stroller is unconfirmed. The restrooms are outside the shop on the building's 2nd floor, and a blog says they are separate for men and women; whether there is a lift is unconfirmed. Sources disagree on parking: some mention the shopping center or a public car park, one says there is none, and fees are unconfirmed. Close to Ichon Hangang Park.

Cafe Mellang

카페멜랑

About eight minutes on foot from Ichon Station Exit 3-1. It opens at 10:00 Tuesday to Sunday and closes on Mondays, so it only just makes the cut. It meets the most child-related needs: a 2026 blog says strollers can get in, there are high chairs and the tables are far enough apart to keep a stroller beside you; another mentions baby tableware, and a third saw strollers there, apparently from mums' meetups. The restroom is inside. Seating for four to six is unconfirmed. Two hours' free parking at the Hangang Mansion arcade car park. It is closer to a brunch restaurant than a cafe.

Starbucks, Yongsan Park Tower

스타벅스 용산파크타워점

Five to six minutes on foot from Ichon Station Exit 1, open daily from 07:00, handy for meeting up before a visit to the National Museum of Korea. The restroom is a shared one outside the shop, with the code on your receipt (Kakao Map's "in-shop" label is wrong). The large table and high chairs appear only in a 2021 blog, so they are unconfirmed now, and a review says the single-floor shop is not especially large. Step-free access is unconfirmed. A drink gets 120 minutes' free parking (Starbucks official).

I am Bagel, Yongsan

아이엠베이글 용산점

Ground floor of the Central Park arcade. Open 08:00–20:00 on weekdays and 08:00–18:00 at weekends, so breakfast works. It is about 500 m from Sinyongsan Station Exit 2 on the map; two 2023 posts give the walk as six and 13 minutes. A ten-seat long table and a terrace appear only in 2023 posts, and one review suggests the terrace would suit eating with a stroller. Whether strollers fit inside is unconfirmed. The restroom is outside the shop: a 2023 post says it is opposite the entrance, and a 2025 post says you cross the road to reach the restrooms, which are separate for men and women. A blog describes a visit with a child. The first two hours of parking are free. Small dogs in a carrier are allowed.

Kakibaum

카키바움

About five minutes on foot from Samgakji Station Exit 3. The cafe opens at 10:00 on weekdays and 11:00 at weekends. Kakao Map lists group seating, a private room and a kids' menu, and a 2026 blog about a visit with a five- and a three-year-old calls it "yes kids zone" in its title. The private 3rd-floor room was reviewed at an evening gathering, so morning use is unconfirmed. It is a converted house and the upper floors appear to be stairs only, so plan on the ground floor with a stroller. The restroom is inside, floor unconfirmed. No parking.

Starbucks, Yongsan Station Summit R

스타벅스 용산역써밋R점

Across the plaza from Yongsan Station and 150 m from Sinyongsan Station Exit 3, open daily from 07:00. The 2nd floor has plenty of group seating, but it is up a flight of stairs and the entrance door is heavy, so it suits adults without a stroller or a family about to catch a KTX; with a stroller, the I'Park Mall 1F branch is the better choice. The restroom location and anything about children are unconfirmed. A drink gets 180 minutes' free parking (Starbucks official).

Tips

  • Whether foreign cards work is unconfirmed at all eight. Kakao Map and the blogs only mention Korean mobile payments such as Kakao Pay and Zero Pay.

Artisee, Sinyongsan Station

아티제 신용산역점

A branch of the Artisee bakery-cafe chain right in front of Sinyongsan Station Exit 3, in the Raemian Yongsan The Central shopping arcade. It opens at 07:00 every day and is a good sit-down breakfast of pastries and coffee. A review puts it about two minutes on foot from Yongsan Station Exit 1 as well. An Americano is ₩4,900 and a latte ₩5,600 (Kakao Map menu).

카페멜랑

A brunch cafe on the ground floor of the Hangang Mansion arcade, about eight minutes on foot from Ichon Station Exit 3-1. The menu centres on meals such as pasta and risotto, with coffee too. It opens at 10:00 Tuesday to Sunday and closes on Mondays. A 2026 blog says strollers can get in, there are high chairs, and the tables are spaced widely enough to keep a stroller beside you; the restroom is inside.

Cheongsong Sikdang, Yongsan I'Park Mall

청송식당 용산아이파크몰점

A Korean and snack restaurant inside the 3rd-floor waiting hall of Yongsan Station. It opens at 06:30 Monday to Saturday and 07:00 on Sunday, so you can have noodles or bibimbap for breakfast before a KTX without leaving the station. Banquet noodles (janchi guksu) are ₩9,000, bibimbap ₩11,000 and hot-stone bibimbap ₩12,000 (Naver). Kakao Map, Naver and a September 2026 blog all give the same opening times.

Coffee@Works, Dongbu Ichon-dong

커피앳웍스 동부이촌동점

A large cafe on the ground floor of Hangang Shopping Center, about six minutes on foot from Ichon Station Exit 4. It opens at 08:00 every day. A 2025 blog describes the room as spacious with plenty of sofa seating and good for coming with a baby. There is no restroom inside the cafe; it is on the 2nd floor of the same building. It sits on the way into Ichon Hangang Park.
