Ticket machines

Since 17 March 2026 the new ticket kiosks take foreign-issued cards such as Visa and Mastercard for single-journey tickets and the Climate Card (buying the card and topping up short-term passes), with a service fee of about 3.7% on average. At station machines, topping up a regular T-money balance is cash only. Whether the mobile kiosks take foreign cards is unconfirmed. When you are done, put your single-journey ticket into a refund machine to get the 500-won deposit back in coins.
