Cafe Gongmyeong, Magok

카페 공명 마곡책빵

Nearest station: Magongnaru Station (마곡나루역) Exit 5 · ≈393 m; Magok Station (마곡역) Exit 2≈ approximate, from map data (Kakao Map, Naver Map or map coordinates)

A book cafe on the ground floor of K Square Tower 3, about 400 m from Magongnaru Station Exit 5, opening at 07:00 on weekdays and 10:00 at weekends and closing at 22:00 every day (Kakao Map and four 2026 posts agree). Kakao Map tags it as a book cafe, quiet cafe and study cafe; a July 2026 post says about a third of the customers came to work, though there were also pairs and threes chatting. Kakao Map's listing details show group seating, but the same post says the tables are small, about single-person size, the layout has few spots where a group can sit, and competition for seats is especially fierce on weekend afternoons. That post recommends going just after opening at weekends or in the evening; weekday-morning crowds were not confirmed.

Tips

  • These hours are what Kakao Map showed on 13 October 2026 and match four posts from July to October 2026. Public-holiday hours were not confirmed, so check a map app for the day before you go.
  • Posts say that coming from Magok Station Exit 2 you follow an underground walkway and take the escalator on the right up to the ground floor. Whether there is a lift on that route was not confirmed, so with a stroller it is better to leave Magongnaru Station by Exit 5 and walk at street level. Three posts say the building's underground car park gives one free hour.

Coffee Giup, COEX Magok

커피기업 코엑스 마곡직영점

A cafe on B2 of Lewest City, the complex that houses COEX Magok (the same floor as Daiso), about 400 m from Magongnaru Station Exit 2. It closes at 21:00 every day and opens at 09:00 at weekends. Posts say it has plenty of seats and several tables, enough for a group, and an October 2026 post written by a parent who came with a child says the wide tables made it comfortable. Two hours' free parking in the Lewest City car park (four posts); two posts say you register your car yourself at the cafe.

A brunch cafe on the ground floor of Magok Pine Square 3, about 450 m from Balsan Station Exit 9. Weekday opening differs by source: six 2026 blog posts give 10:00 while Kakao Map says 09:00; for weekends, Kakao Map and most posts say 11:00. A September 2026 post says there are plenty of round and square tables and quite a few groups, and another post says you can book by phone and should ask ahead for a large party. Kakao Map's AI review summary calls it a "yes-kids zone", and its listing details show high chairs.

Oromo Coffeehouse

오로모커피하우스

A cafe on the ground floor of a company office building, about 120 m from Magongnaru Station Exit 2. It opens only on weekdays, 07:30–18:30, and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (Kakao Map and two 2026 blog posts). A 2025 post describes a long laptop-work table in the middle of the room, and another 2025 post says group use is possible; a party of four to six would be sharing that communal table. It closes at 18:30, so it does not work late in the afternoon.
