- Kakao Map (updated 31 August 2026), DiningCode and 2026 blog posts all agree on 08:30–20:30 Monday to Saturday, closed Sundays. Temporary closures may still not appear online, so check a map app for the day before you go.
- Dakgomtang is ₩10,000 (two September 2026 blogs and the Kakao Map menu), ₩11,000 for the large size; dak-kalguksu is ₩11,000 and extra rice is ₩1,000. A May 2026 post giving ₩8,000 looks out of date.

Gimbap Cheonguk Hongdae Main Branch
김밥천국 홍대본점A Gimbap Cheonguk branch at 55 Eoulmadang-ro. Its hours change by day, so whether it works for breakfast depends on the day: on Friday and Saturday nights it stays open until 09:00 the next morning, while Monday to Thursday it closes at 05:30 and reopens at 10:00. Gimbap starts at ₩4,000; visitors say ordering is by kiosk and it also sells soju and beer.
Hongdae Sundaeguk
홍대순대국A soup restaurant serving sundaeguk (pork soup with blood sausage), yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) and naejangtang (offal soup). It opens at 07:00 Monday to Saturday, which makes it a hot-meal breakfast option in Hongdae. Sundaeguk was ₩11,000 in a September 2026 blog post. Walk in and order with the staff. Sunday hours differ between sources, so do not count on it for a Sunday breakfast.
Isaac Toast Hongdae
이삭토스트 서울홍대점A branch of the Isaac Toast chain, which makes hot breakfast sandwiches. It opens at 08:00 on weekdays and 09:00 on weekends, and suits a light breakfast rather than a full meal. You order at the kiosk by the entrance, and there is seating upstairs on the second floor, including window seats. Takeout is available. One toast sandwich is around ₩4,000–5,000 (corn bacon egg mayo was ₩4,300 in a December 2025 blog).
Jeonjuga Kongnamul Gukbap, Mangwon Station
전주가콩나물국밥전문점 망원역점A kongnamul gukbap restaurant (bean sprout soup with rice) by Mangwon Station, not in central Hongdae. It is listed as open 24 hours; some sources list an afternoon break (14:30–16:00), which does not affect breakfast. Kongnamul gukbap is ₩5,500 and the kimchi version ₩6,500, which is cheap for a breakfast in this area. A raw egg comes with the soup.
