- Kakao Map (updated 1 September 2026), Tabling and a May 2026 blog all give 08:00 on weekdays and 09:00 on weekends. It opens an hour later on weekends, so plan weekend mornings around that, and check a map app for the day before you go.

Jeonjuga Kongnamul Gukbap, Mangwon Station
전주가콩나물국밥전문점 망원역점A kongnamul gukbap restaurant (bean sprout soup with rice) by Mangwon Station, not in central Hongdae. It is listed as open 24 hours; some sources list an afternoon break (14:30–16:00), which does not affect breakfast. Kongnamul gukbap is ₩5,500 and the kimchi version ₩6,500, which is cheap for a breakfast in this area. A raw egg comes with the soup.
Manaolana
마나올라나A brunch cafe on Seongmisan-ro in Yeonnam-dong, open 07:00–18:00 every day with last order at 17:00 (per its DiningCode listing). Apart from the 24-hour gimbap shops, it is the earliest opening in Hongdae and Yeonnam on any day of the week. The menu is breakfast food: a one-plate brunch, sandwiches, Greek yoghurt bowls and a potato soup.

무신사 스탠다드 홍대The store of Musinsa's in-house basics label; Musinsa is a large Korean online fashion platform. Musinsa's official store page puts it at 144 Yanghwa-ro and lists tax free, WeChat Pay and Alipay as services. Since a renewal on 27 November 2025, Musinsa's official store API and Kakao Map both show it open 11:00–23:00 every day. There is nothing to book, so the main thing to remember is your passport.
NOSH Hongdae
NOSH 홍대점A British brunch place serving all day with no break, open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00. The NOSH Breakfast and the vegetarian Veggie NOSH Breakfast are ₩21,000 each, Egg & Avo on Toast is ₩17,000 and seasonal fruit & pistachio French toast is ₩18,000 (fig as of October). Staff speak English, and one review says half or more of the customers are foreigners. Last order is 16:30, so it suits a late breakfast or early lunch; if you need an early start, Manaolana in Yeonnam-dong opens at 07:00 every day.
