Foreign Cards Accepted in Seoul: 44 Places We Confirmed
Places in Seoul where we confirmed that foreign-issued cards work, grouped by neighborhood. A place is listed only if the shop or brand says so, or if articles, foreign visitors’ payment reviews or Japanese travel guides that name card brands confirm it. A “card OK” mark on Korean map apps means Korean cards, so we don’t count it. Places we couldn’t confirm are left out — that doesn’t mean they refuse foreign cards. Some take only certain card brands, so read the note under each name.

On the per-receipt ceiling the two disagree: Olive Young says "up to ₩1,000,000", while the operator Global Tax Free says the purchase must be under ₩1,000,000 — so at exactly ₩1,000,000, split the receipt.
