Public Toilets in Jamsil: Jamsil Station, Lotte World Mall & Seokchon Lake
Jamsil packs the station, Lotte World Mall, the department stores and Seokchon Lake close together, so there are plenty of toilets to choose from. The catch: the Lotte buildings do not publish restroom hours, so it is safest to assume you can use them only within Lotte's official store hours, and the lake toilets' exact hours are not published. Below is only what could be confirmed from Songpa-gu's public open-restroom list and Lotte's official store hours.

Jamsil Station underground arcade — registered as 24 hours
Underground 265 Olympic-ro, a restroom run by the Seoul Facilities Corporation and registered in Songpa-gu's public open-restroom list with hours of 00:00–24:00. It is listed with one accessible stall each for men and women, wheelchair access and a changing table. The 24-hour figure comes from the district's listing; whether the arcade entrances are open late at night could not be confirmed. Its exact spot inside the arcade is not published either, so check the arcade map.
Jamsil Station (Lines 2 and 8) — outside the gates, 05:00–24:00
Songpa-gu's list has separate entries for the Line 2 and Line 8 stations, both marked "outside the fare gates", both run by Seoul Metro and open 05:00–24:00. The Line 2 one is at Underground 265 Olympic-ro and the Line 8 one at 305 Olympic-ro. Each is listed with one accessible stall for men and one for women, with wheelchair access. Which exit they are near, and whether there is a changing table, could not be confirmed from published sources.
Subway stations — exit and re-enter within 15 minutes for free
Seoul's free re-entry started at 10 minutes in July 2023 and was extended to 15 minutes that October, so if you exit for the toilet and tap back in at the same station within 15 minutes you are not charged a new base fare; the re-entry is processed as one transfer. Jamsil on Lines 2 and 8 and Seokchon on Line 8 are both covered.
Lotte World Mall — Lotte's official hours 10:30–22:00
300 Olympic-ro. The building is on Songpa-gu's public open-restroom list, which notes one accessible stall each for men and women, wheelchair access and a changing table. Lotte's official hours are 10:30–22:00 every day, and 12:00–22:00 on Seollal and Chuseok days. Restroom hours are not published separately, so it is safest to assume you can use them only within these hours. Which floors have restrooms is not stated in published sources, so check the mall directory.
Lotte Department Store Jamsil & Avenuel World Tower — Lotte's official hours 10:30–20:00
Lotte Department Store Jamsil (240 Olympic-ro, on the Lotte World side) and Avenuel World Tower (300 Olympic-ro, in the lower floors of Lotte World Tower) are both on Songpa-gu's public open-restroom list. Per Lotte, Avenuel keeps the same hours as the department store: 10:30–20:00 normally, until 20:30 or 21:00 on extended-hours days, and closed one day a month. Restroom hours are not published separately, so it is safest to assume you can use them only within these hours. The district list gives the Jamsil store two accessible stalls for men and one for women, and Avenuel six each plus two children's stalls on the women's side; both have changing tables. Floors are not stated in published sources.
Seokchon Lake (west) — the Atelier and Culture Lab Hosu
There are two toilets by the west lake. One is "Songpanaru Park (Seokchon Lake Atelier)" on the lake's southern edge (191 Seokchonhosu-ro); Songpa-gu's list gives its hours only as "always" and notes one accessible stall each for men and women, wheelchair access and a changing table. The Atelier is a performance venue, so there is no evidence it stays open at night. The other is the open restroom at the "Songpanaru Culture Lab Hosu" (256 Songpanaru-gil), where Cafe Gogos used to be. The district list still carries the old name and 24 hours, which may be out of date, so treat its hours as unconfirmed.
Seokchon Lake (east) — the east lake rest facility, 1F and 2F
On the east lake, map listings show open restrooms on the first and second floors of the "Songpanaru East Lake rest facility" at 206 Songpanaru-gil. Their hours could not be confirmed from published sources.
Seokchon Station (Line 8) — outside the gates, 05:00–24:00
439 Songpa-daero. Songpa-gu lists it as "Seokchon Station (outside the fare gates)", run by Seoul Metro and open 05:00–24:00, with one accessible stall each for men and women. The station is south of Seokchon Lake's east lake, about 500–600m from Songridan-gil, which lies southeast of the east lake. Whether there is a changing table could not be confirmed.
Tips
- The Lotte toilets are best assumed unavailable once Lotte's official hours end, and the lake toilets' hours are unconfirmed. If you will be out late, use a station toilet while the trains are running, and after that keep in mind the Jamsil Station underground arcade toilet, which is registered with the district as 24-hour.
- Korea began removing bins from public toilets in January 2018, so used paper goes down the toilet.
- Korean public toilets usually have paper, but in some it sits in a large dispenser outside the stalls rather than inside — take what you need before you go in. Keep pocket tissues in your bag in case it has run out.

Anmok, Jamsil
안목 잠실점A pork gukbap (pork soup with rice) restaurant at 105 Ogeum-ro that opens at 10:00 on weekdays and 09:00 on weekends and public holidays and stays open until 01:00, so it suits a late breakfast rather than an early one. Entry is by CatchTable queue; an October 2026 review saw an estimated 68-minute wait but got in within 30 minutes. Pork gukbap is ₩13,000, the mixed bowl ₩13,500 and the head-meat bowl ₩14,000 (the Kakao Map menu and an October 2026 blog give the same prices). Blog reviews place it near Seokchon Lake and Songridan-gil, with window seats looking onto the lakeside trees.

아키비스트 송파점A three-floor cafe on Songridan-gil, about 300 m from Songpanaru Station Exit 1, open 09:00–22:00 daily. The basement has a large table and the second floor a large shared table, which suits a group of adults; the ground floor has the order counter, ordinary tables and window bar seats. The floors with the big tables and the restroom are all reached by stairs, so with a stroller it only works if there is a free table on the ground floor. Kakao Map and four 2026 posts agree on the hours.
Jeil Masinneun Jip
제일맛있는집A small snack-and-set-meal shop at unit B-11 of the Jamsil Station underground shopping mall, with gimbap at ₩4,000–4,500 and ramyeon at ₩5,000 (an August 2026 review says paying cash knocks off ₩500). Reviews say seats are few and there is a takeaway queue for gimbap in the morning. Hours conflict: Kakao Map lists 06:00–22:00 daily, but a blog says it opens at 07:00 and closes when food runs out, so treat it as a backup with uncertain hours.
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk, Jamsil
제주은희네해장국 잠실직영점A Jeju-style haejangguk (hangover soup) restaurant at 10 Songpa-daero 49-gil. It opens at 08:00 on weekends and 09:00 Tuesday to Friday, and is closed on Mondays. Haejangguk is ₩12,000, naejangtang (offal soup) ₩13,000 and a small plate of dombe-gogi (boiled pork) ₩13,000 per the Kakao Map menu; a September 2026 blog gives the same prices for the haejangguk and dombe-gogi. It is about 430m from Seokchon Station (Line 8) Exit 8 per Naver and close to Sambaekjip.
