Which Exit at Jamsil Station for Lotte World, Lotte World Tower and Seokchon Lake
Lines 2 and 8 meet at Jamsil Station, whose exits are numbered 1 to 11. Blog reviews show that Lotte Department Store, Lotte Hotel World and Lotte World Mall can be entered underground straight from the station, so the exit number is less a place to go outside than a sign to follow inside the station. All you need is that number for each destination.

Exit 4 — Lotte World Adventure
Naver's place listing gives the directions as "from Exit 4 of Jamsil Station, Lines 2 and 8, to Lotte World Adventure", about 140m from the exit per Naver. The Korean Wikipedia exit table also lists Exit 4 for Lotte World Adventure and Lotte Department Store Jamsil. Lotte World Adventure opens at 10:00.
Exit 3 — Lotte Department Store, Lotte Hotel World, Seokchon Lake (west)
In the Korean Wikipedia exit table, Exit 3 serves Lotte Department Store Jamsil, Lotte World, Lotte Hotel World and Seokchon Lake. Naver's listing for Lotte Hotel World says "get off at Jamsil Station Exit 3", and a September 2026 blog review describes following the Exit 3 signs from the ticket gates through Lotte Department Store to the hotel lobby without going outside. The west lake of Seokchon Lake, where Lotte World's Magic Island stands, is about 320m from Exit 3 per Naver.
Exit 2 — Seokchon Lake (east)
In the Korean Wikipedia exit table, Exit 2 serves Seokchon Lake, Songpa-daero and the Jamsil transit center. Songpa-daero splits the lake into an east and a west lake; the east lake is about 280m from Exit 2 per Naver. If you plan to walk all the way round, either side works.
Lotte World Tower and Mall — toward Exits 1–2 from Line 2, 10–11 from Line 8
In the Korean Wikipedia exit table, Lotte World Tower and Lotte World Mall are served by Exit 1 (Line 2) and Exit 11 (Line 8). According to blog reviews, from Line 2 you follow the signs for Exits 1 and 2 and walk straight into a Lotte World Mall entrance underground, and on the Line 8 side Exits 10 and 11 connect to the mall underground. Lotte World Mall opens at 10:30 per Naver.
Tips
- According to the Korean Wikipedia article, the Line 8 station was built away from the Line 2 station, so the transfer passage between them is about 200m. Allow extra time when changing between Lines 2 and 8.
- Exit numbers were checked on 6 October 2026 against the Korean Wikipedia exit table, Naver place listings and 2025–2026 blog reviews. The signs inside the station are the most reliable guide, so follow the destination names on them once you are there.
Jamsil · Places
Anmok, Jamsil
안목 잠실점A pork gukbap (pork soup with rice) restaurant at 105 Ogeum-ro that opens at 10:00 on weekdays and 09:00 on weekends and public holidays and stays open until 01:00, so it suits a late breakfast rather than an early one. Entry is by CatchTable queue; an October 2026 review saw an estimated 68-minute wait but got in within 30 minutes. Pork gukbap is ₩13,000, the mixed bowl ₩13,500 and the head-meat bowl ₩14,000 (the Kakao Map menu and an October 2026 blog give the same prices). Blog reviews place it near Seokchon Lake and Songridan-gil, with window seats looking onto the lakeside trees.
Archivist, Songpa
아키비스트 송파점A three-floor cafe on Songridan-gil, about 300 m from Songpanaru Station Exit 1, open 09:00–22:00 daily. The basement has a large table and the second floor a large shared table, which suits a group of adults; the ground floor has the order counter, ordinary tables and window bar seats. The floors with the big tables and the restroom are all reached by stairs, so with a stroller it only works if there is a free table on the ground floor. Kakao Map and four 2026 posts agree on the hours.
Jeil Masinneun Jip
제일맛있는집A small snack-and-set-meal shop at unit B-11 of the Jamsil Station underground shopping mall, with gimbap at ₩4,000–4,500 and ramyeon at ₩5,000 (an August 2026 review says paying cash knocks off ₩500). Reviews say seats are few and there is a takeaway queue for gimbap in the morning. Hours conflict: Kakao Map lists 06:00–22:00 daily, but a blog says it opens at 07:00 and closes when food runs out, so treat it as a backup with uncertain hours.
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk, Jamsil
제주은희네해장국 잠실직영점A Jeju-style haejangguk (hangover soup) restaurant at 10 Songpa-daero 49-gil. It opens at 08:00 on weekends and 09:00 Tuesday to Friday, and is closed on Mondays. Haejangguk is ₩12,000, naejangtang (offal soup) ₩13,000 and a small plate of dombe-gogi (boiled pork) ₩13,000 per the Kakao Map menu; a September 2026 blog gives the same prices for the haejangguk and dombe-gogi. It is about 430m from Seokchon Station (Line 8) Exit 8 per Naver and close to Sambaekjip.
