Tips

  • Kakao Map and blog posts from July and September 2026 give the same hours, and the shop announced it would open as normal over the 2026 Chuseok holiday. Still, check a map app for the day before you go.
  • With children you can only use the ground floor. One parent reports going in with a baby and stroller to eat. Where the restrooms are was not confirmed. There is no parking; use a nearby public car park.

Seongsu Jokbal

성수족발

A jokbal (braised pig's trotter) restaurant in Seongsu, run by the second generation since 1983. Jokbal is the only dish — you pick medium, large or extra-large. The room is small with some floor seating, and no listing shows a reservation route, so there is normally a wait. It closes between 15:00 and 17:00.

Seoul Forest

서울숲

A city park on the western edge of Seongsu. Admission is free and the park itself is open 24 hours year-round, so there is no time slot to plan around. The facilities inside — the insect botanical garden, the butterfly garden — keep their own shorter hours and close on Mondays, so the park's 24-hour opening does not carry over to them. It is about a five-minute walk from Exit 3 of Seoul Forest Station.

Sinmyeong Meokgeori

신명먹거리

A baekban restaurant: a Korean set meal of rice, soup and side dishes. It is four minutes from Ttukseom Station and opens between 05:30 and 06:00 Monday to Saturday, among the earliest of the Seongsu breakfast places checked here. The baekban comes with about 12 side dishes and a soup that changes daily, for ₩9,000; doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew) is ₩10,000 and yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) ₩12,000. It closes at 18:00; Sunday is listed as either a regular closing day or an irregular one, depending on the source.
