Breakfast in Gangnam: 24-Hour Soup Places and Early Bagels in Sinsa and Apgujeong

A haejangguk place toward Exit 12 of Gangnam Station, open 24 hours; yang-seonji haejangguk is ₩13,000. A blog says it never closes, but Kakao Map shows it closing at 21:30 on Sunday and reopening at 06:30 on Monday — so breakfast works any day as long as you avoid Monday before 06:30.

A sundae-gukbap place close to Exit 12 of Gangnam Station, open 24 hours every day per Kakao Map and blogs. Sundae gukbap is ₩11,000, there is a solo bar counter along the window, and you order with the QR code or tablet at your seat.

A seolleongtang place about seven minutes' walk toward Exit 4 of Gangnam Station. Open 24 hours, every day, with no break — the fewest time restrictions of the Gangnam Station 24-hour places. Seolleongtang was ₩13,000 per an October 2026 blog.

A Jeonju-style bean-sprout soup place about five minutes from Exit 4 of Gangnam Station. Kongnamul gukbap is ₩8,000 (Naver and DiningCode), one of the cheaper soup breakfasts around Gangnam Station. Kakao Map and DiningCode say 24 hours every day, but a Naver notice and an October 2026 blog say it closes from 21:00 Sunday to 09:00 Monday, so avoid Monday mornings.

The Canadian coffee-and-doughnut chain on the ground floor of Daeryung Tower, in front of Exit 5 of Gangnam Station. Opens at 07:00 on weekdays; on Saturday sources differ between 07:00 (Kakao Map, Naver, a blog) and 08:00 (DiningCode); Sundays and public holidays 08:00. The Maple Ham & Cheese Melt is ₩6,900 and a medium Americano ₩4,000.

An egg-sandwich shop in a basement about four minutes from Exit 7 of Sinnonhyeon Station. Opens at 07:00 every day; you order at a kiosk. The American Ham Cheese sandwich was ₩5,600 (August 2026 blog). You can also pre-order for pickup through Naver.

A kongnamul gukbap place by Exit 9 of Sinnonhyeon Station. Opens at 07:30 every day and closes at 19:30 on Sunday (Kakao Map). The Nambu Market-style soup was ₩10,000 per 2026 blogs. One blog says 24 hours, but either way it is open for breakfast from 07:30.

A toast shop in a side street on the Seocho side of Gangnam Station. Opens at 08:00 Monday to Saturday, closed Sundays, with a 14:00–17:00 break on weekdays. Order at the kiosk; the Bacon Best toast is ₩4,500.

A Yangpyeong-style hangover-soup place in a basement right by Exit 5 of Sinsa Station, open 24 hours every day per Kakao Map, Naver and DiningCode. The soup with blood curd and offal is ₩12,000, and haenaetang, combining it with offal soup, ₩14,000.

A long-running seolleongtang place 3–4 minutes from Exit 5 of Sinsa Station, in Jamwon-dong on the west side of Gangnam-daero, opposite Garosu-gil. Open 24 hours, every day — a safe breakfast option near Sinsa and Garosu-gil. Seolleongtang is ₩15,000. Break from 15:00 to 17:00.

A hanu (Korean beef) haejangguk place about four minutes from Exit 3 of Apgujeong Station. Blogs say it opens at 06:00 and Kakao Map says 07:00, so after 07:00 is the safe bet. Hanu yang-seonji haejangguk is ₩13,000. Open every day per the blogs.

London Bagel Museum Dosan

A bagel shop near Dosan Park, 7–10 minutes from Exit 5 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station. Open 08:00–18:00 every day, holidays included. A plain bagel is ₩3,800. Blogs from September and October 2026 got in without a long wait; a May 2026 blog found the indoor seats full and a line for takeaway.

Hayes Mill Bakery

A sourdough bakery cafe in the back streets of Garosu-gil, open 09:00–19:30 every day. Almond butter open toast is ₩8,000. An option for a late-morning start with bread and coffee on Garosu-gil.
